LIU Tze Tai
Tze Tai joined cgnArchitects in 2005 as project architect for the $230m Jurong Point 2 commercial and residential mixed-use development, and was made a director of the firm in 2009. Besides project management services he is also involved in the firm's many design undertakings. His portfolio includes hotels, office towers, retail malls and apartment buildings in Singapore, Malaysia, India and China.
Prior to joining cgnArchitects, Tze Tai has worked in both private practice and government agencies. During his tenure at Jurong Consultants, he was the architectural team leader for the $280m Biopolis 1 bio-medical R&D complex at one-North, seeing through the project from conception to completion. In the course of his work he has accumulated extensive experience in the planning, design, construction and implementation of large scale building projects involving complex programming and technical requirements.
A graduate of National University of Singapore (B. Arch 1998) Tze Tai is a registered architect with BOA and has a MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration. He is currently a corporate member of Singapore Institute of Architects and a fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
