Chee Ghit started her architectural career with the Housing and Development Board (HDB) of Singapore in 1977. Having acquired sound working knowledge of local bylaws and regulations, she moved on to join a major architectural practice in Singapore. During her tenure there, she was the lead architect in various projects for both the private sector and government agencies. Her overseas projects took her to Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China and Australia.

In 1987, she was posted to Sydney, Australia on a 3 year secondment with renowned architectural firm Kenzo Tange Associates to work on the World Square Development Project. On her return, she was appointed Director and took the role of Director-in-Charge of projects in China. Fluent in Mandarin, she oversaw projects in various cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Xiamen, Guangzhou) in China.

Her extensive travels have equipped her with first-hand knowledge and insight into the practice in the regional construction industry. Her portfolio is varied; she has been actively involved in all types of development. In 2004, Chee Ghit started her own practice to continue in the pursuit of her vision of ‘BUILDING FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, PLACE MAKING FOR THE PEOPLE’.

Raymond joined cgnA Consultancy Sdn Bhd in 2007 as an associate director. He has been involved in a variety of projects including SStwo Shopping Mall, Federal Auto Office Tower, Cititel Express Hotels, apartments, residential and other mixed development projects.

Prior to joining cgnA, Raymond has worked with architectural firms in both Malaysia and Singapore with a portfolio of projects that includes the Gardens at Midvalley City in Malaysia, Biopolis Bio-medical R&D Complex (Fit Out works) in Singapore, SPH Print Centre in Singapore, and other mixed development projects in India.

A graduate of National University of Singapore (B.Arch Hons 1998), Raymond is a registered architect with the Board Of Architects Singapore since 2002. Raymond is also a registered Facilitator of the Malaysia Green Building Index, a registered Professional Architect (AR) with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia and a corporate member of the Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM).

Kok Wai joined cgnA Consultancy Sdn Bhd in 2009 as an associate director. Since then, he has been involved with a variety of projects that include Federal Auto Office Tower, Pearl Residence, Aman Putri Housing Development and Grid 9 Hotel.

Prior to joining cgnA, Kok Wai has worked in reputable architectural firms namely Sherman Kung & Associates and Ong & Ong Architects in Hong Kong and Singapore. His portfolio includes residential housing, commercial complexes and interior design. Kok Wai is a graduate of National University of Singapore (B. Arch 1996)

Maureen gained her experience in the architectural profession by working as the Architect of hospitality, commercial and institutional projects whilst also being involved in a variety of projects in resort, wellness and residential.

Her involvement on developments in Australia, Singapore and China has given her a good understanding of the construction industry in these countries. She has a deep passion for the built environment and is a registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore.
